About Cari

You may find yourself wondering: Why don’t I feel like myself anymore? Who am I these days?

Perhaps you are processing a loss, navigating a life transition or changes in your health or functioning, feeling stretched thin in your relationships, supporting others in a caregiving role, or wrestling with spiritual questions or wounds that feel isolating or difficult to name. You may be questioning your identity or who you are becoming in ways that feel uncertain, complex, or difficult to put into words. At times, it can feel disorienting to no longer recognize yourself or the future you once expected. Many clients come to me when circumstances impact how they understand themselves, their capacity, and their place in the world; when life begins to feel overwhelming; and/or when the quiet exhaustion of holding everything together becomes too much.

I work with adults (18+) navigating these experiences, with a particular focus on grief (including perinatal loss), spiritual distress, and identity shifts related to life-stage and hormonal transitions (such as perimenopause and menopause), as well as neurodivergence, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In therapy with me, you can expect to enter a space grounded in empathy, warmth, and safety. My approach is collaborative and client-centred. Together, we will explore the patterns, emotions, bodily responses, and narratives that shape your life, while making room for curiosity, compassion, new insights, and even a little humour along the way.

Educational and Professional Background

I completed a Master of Psychospiritual Studies (MPS) degree with a Certificate in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto (Knox College). I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a Fellow in Thanatology: Death, Dying, Loss, and Bereavement (FT) with the Association for Death Education and Counselling (ADEC).

Cancellation Policy

When you book a session, your clinician reserves their time for you. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please notify your clinician at least 24 hours in advance, so that someone else may utilize the time. Similarly, when your clinician is unable to keep the appointment with you, they will give you more than a 24-hour notice and rebook to another date and time.

In the case whereby you are unable to provide 24-hour cancellation notice (e.g., you cancel an appointment on the day of the appointment [i.e., the same day] or do not show up for a scheduled appointment), unless for emergency reasons (e.g., medical or family emergencies), you will be charged the fee for your session and payment will be required at your next scheduled session.

Note: Employee Assistance Programs and other insurance-based programs will not reimburse you, the client, for missed appointment costs.
