About Court
I received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from York University (2019) and hold a Master of Education in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto (2021). I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist and am currently a member of both the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
Prior to working with Church Wellesley Counselling and Psychotherapy, I spent time providing frontline counselling to individuals who were battling addictions, experiencing homelessness, and overcoming the effects of trauma. My clinical training has granted me the opportunity to assist clients from diverse backgrounds who present with unique challenges—allowing me to remain flexible while we collaboratively customize the therapeutic process and the skills and tools necessary to meet your individualized treatment goals.
I operate from a strengths-based, anti-oppressive, and anti-colonialist lens to psychotherapy that is growth-oriented and non-pathologizing. Grounded in Psychodynamic theory and drawing from such therapeutic modalities as Internal Family Systems and Emotion-Focused Therapy, my clinical orientation holds the therapeutic relationship as the key element within the change process. To ensure the cultivation of a strong relational dynamic, I offer a safe therapeutic environment that is founded upon empathy, transparency, and genuine compassion while I accompany you on your subjective journey toward self-discovery, psychological clarity, and personal betterment.
