About Court

I received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from York University (2019) and hold a Master of Education in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto (2021). I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist and am currently a member of both the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

Prior to working with Church Wellesley Counselling and Psychotherapy, I spent time providing frontline counselling to individuals who were battling addictions, experiencing homelessness, and overcoming the effects of trauma. My clinical training has granted me the opportunity to assist clients from diverse backgrounds who present with unique challenges—allowing me to remain flexible while we collaboratively customize the therapeutic process and the skills and tools necessary to meet your individualized treatment goals.

I operate from a strengths-based, anti-oppressive, and anti-colonialist lens to offer psychotherapy that is growth-oriented and non-pathologizing. Grounded in Psychodynamic theory and drawing from such therapeutic modalities as Internal Family Systems and Emotion-Focused Therapy, my clinical orientation holds the therapeutic relationship as the key element within the change process. To ensure the cultivation of a strong relational dynamic, I offer a safe therapeutic environment that is founded upon empathy, transparency, and genuine compassion while I accompany you on your subjective journey toward self-discovery, psychological clarity, and personal betterment.

Cancellation Policy

When you book a session, your clinician reserves their time for you. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please notify your clinician at least 24 hours in advance, so that someone else may utilize the time. Similarly, when your clinician is unable to keep the appointment with you, they will give you more than a 24-hour notice and rebook to another date and time.

In the case whereby you are unable to provide 24-hour cancellation notice (e.g., you cancel an appointment on the day of the appointment [i.e., the same day] or do not show up for a scheduled appointment), unless for emergency reasons (e.g., medical or family emergencies), you will be charged the fee for your session and payment will be required at your next scheduled session.

Note: Employee Assistance Programs and other insurance-based programs will not reimburse you, the client, for missed appointment costs.
