Psychedelic Integration Therapy

Psychedelic experiences can be powerful, emotional, confusing -- or all of the above. Whether your journey was recreational, spiritual, or part of a guided treatment like ketamine or psilocybin therapy, integration helps bridge the gap between your experience and your everyday life.

At Church Wellesley Counselling and Psychotherapy, we provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what came up during your psychedelic experience and translate it into meaningful, grounded personal growth.

What is Psychedelic Integration?

Psychedelic integration is the process of reflecting on your psychedelic experience with the support of a trained mental health professional. It’s not about re-living the trip -- it’s about making sense of it, noticing patterns, unpacking emotions, and using the experience to guide healing and self-understanding.

Who Is This For?

You may benefit from psychedelic integration if you:

  • Are preparing for a future psychedelic journey and want support before and after

  • Are seeking clarity about what the experience meant

  • Recently had a psychedelic experience (guided or self-led)

  • Want to integrate insights into daily life or healing goals

Psychedelic Integration vs. Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

Psychedelic Integration

Integration happens after a psychedelic experience -- whether it was part of a clinical treatment, a retreat, or something you did on your own. It’s a form of talk therapy that helps you process and reflect on the experience, explore what it brought up emotionally or psychologically, and find ways to carry the insights into your daily life.

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

This is a clinical treatment in which a licensed therapist or medical professional administers a psychedelic substance (like ketamine, psilocybin, or MDMA) as part of a structured therapy session. It typically takes place in a regulated setting, with medical supervision, and follows specific protocols approved for mental health treatment.

In other words...

  • Psychedelic-assisted therapy is about the experience itself.
  • Integration is about what comes after.

We do not administer psychedelic substances.

While we do not provide or guide the use of psychedelics, we do offer psychedelic integration therapy through one of our clinicians who has training and experience in this area.

This service is designed to help you reflect on your experience, process any emotional or psychological effects, and explore how the insights can be meaningfully woven into your daily life.
